The Challenge:

Microsoft sells through a traditional IT channel network of distributors and resellers around the globe. Across software, hardware and cloud solutions, the need to keep vast numbers of sales and support staff informed is a mammoth task. Different languages, cultures and infrastructure serve to make this even more complex.

Campaign:

Of course, Microsoft have their own SharePoint and Yammer solutions. But they turned to Engage to help motivate and enthuse staff through a unique social-based platform called ‘Prosper’. Mixing education and community based modules, we engaged a disparate third-party workforce and motivated them to achieve sales goals. On-line promotions delivered stunning results and a performance-dashboard enabled local management to review and impact sales in real-time. More than 300,000 resellers around the world engaged with us.
