One of the biggest challenges facing military commanders is connectivity – the ability to link people, assets and places for communications and data sharing. This is what NATO calls ‘interoperability’ – enabling our combined forces to work together seamlessly. BAE Systems NetVIPR™ offers a unique solution to this challenge, enabling the creation of secure local and wide-area networks.
We were tasked with creating content for DSEI (the world’s largest defence and security exhibition) to showcase the NetVIPR technology to prospective military users. We scripted, storyboarded, animated and produced two interactives to cover the original NetVIPR capability and an associated software-defined radio. Both were hosted on touchscreens, allowing users to navigate from headline propositions to technical data, dependent on the user’s level of interest and proficiency.
Engage has since been tasked with helping the BAE Systems’ team take the wider NetVIPR capability to market through a productisation and promotion programme, based around our proprietary Strategy-Driven Engagement Model™ .
